Kingsmen News · Updated 2/8/21 Opening up Athletics/Latest news

Hello All,
Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to plan and implement partial opening for OSAA sanctioned sports, cheer, and dance.  As a follow up and reminder to the two emails last week, the current opening plan currently involves outdoor conditioning and drills only, not full practices and competitions.  While there are many restrictions and limitations in place, it is exciting that we are headed in the direction of having opportunities for student-athletes that are willing and able to get involved.  Any student can get involved regardless of grade, experience, etc.
The purpose of this email is to give student-athletes all information needed to move forward working with sport specific programs and coaches.  This will include contact information for key people in case you need additional help registering or if you have any additional questions.  Each sport will have the head coach’s contact information and tentative starting date as well as days and times of workouts listed below.
There are 4 total requirements for student-athletes to be ready for workouts.  You need to have these four requirements met before participating;
1. Register on Family ID for each sport you wish to participate in.
2. Provide a copy of a current physical.  This can be delivered to the school, scanned and emailed to Sandi Hansen at, or turned in at your first workout.
3. Complete and sign the “Student-Athletes and Parent Understanding Agreement to Safety Requirements” form that is attached to this email.  There will be a basket at your first workout to put that form in during check in and your name will be recorded.
4. Complete and sign the “Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless” form that is attached to this email.  There will be a basket at your first workout to put that form in and your name will be recorded.
The attachment to this email lists all safety protocol, guidelines, and all information available at this time.  The same information, including translated forms, is available on our school website.  Please use the attachment as a reference and note there is a question and answer section as well as the two forms that you need. There is a lot of information in the attachment, I appreciate you taking the time to read it so we are all on the same page.

If you have questions regarding Family ID, physicals, “Student-Athletes and Parent Understanding and Agreement to Safety Requirements: or the “Waiver of Liability” form, please contact Athletic Secretary, Sandi Hansen, at
