Monday’s game against Wilsonville was a heartbreaker for Rex Putnam Kingsmen, as they lost 9-6 in extra innings. The game was tied at six with Wilsonville batting in the top of the ninth when Kimball singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
Despite the loss, Rex Putnam Kingsmen did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Wilsonville had 16 hits on the way to victory.
